Theia Institute of Vocal Arts, a Besant Nagar-based music school that focuses exclusively on voice training courses (a first in India), celebrated its first annual day on Aug.17. Students performed a range of musical genres including Western classical, pop music, film songs and Hindustani classical.
The institute’s founder Sachin Shankor Mannath (Vijay TV Super Singer Vocal Coach, Film Composer) spoke about the importance of ‘Learning by Doing’ and how teachers and institutions should encourage students by conducting such events regularly.
